I have recently written a book about being a missionary kid and it is getting published in America by McDougal Publishing. Ruth E. Van Reken has written a great foreword for the book and it will be released in mid-July.

Summary: Most often the conflicts arising in groups are due to the cultural differences. Once these differences are understood, and ways of adjusting to a different culture are implemented, often the conflicts are resolved. Sarah Lanier, author of Foreign to Familiar, will facilitate understanding through interactive examples of how to deal with multicultural situations.

Summary: "Sarah Lanier, author of 'Foreign to Familiar' and Dr. Erik Spruyt, founder and director of Le Rucher Ministries in France, will lead a skills focused basic debriefing workshop for leaders, mental health professionals and seasoned member care workers. Le Rucher is internationally known for its debriefing of career field workers, with a five day, Christ center model of professionally trained debriefers. Both theory and practical application will be offered, as well as key resources for leaders of agencies and therapists alike.
